The Designer

Marquise (Mar-Key) Patterson is a Detroit native who has been an avid participant in the fashion and arts community for more than 15 years. Upon graduating from high school, she moved to New York to attend college, pursuing her lifelong dream of becoming a fashion designer. 

After receiving her Bachelors of Fine Arts from Parsons the New School for Design in New York City in 2012, she created her dream capsule collection, Marquise Sarah. Her collection of men's shirt wear and accessories caters to the needs of professionals searching for quality transitional pieces designed to fit an active lifestyle. 

Marquise has worked diligently building a successful brand by forming authentic relationships with fashion leaders, making her a respected professional in the NY fashion industry. Her passion and tenacity for elegant design have helped her build a career working for mass-market retailers and high-end boutique houses such as Opening Ceremony, Armani Exchange & Dennis Basso.
